Our Story, Milestone by Milestone
From borrowed bus fare to a global manufacturing leader
Frank Yang left Jiangxi at 18 with borrowed travel money. He started as a warehouse worker, rose to quality inspector, then purchasing manager — learning the supply chain from the ground up.
Frank and his wife founded Cobabies as a trading company. The following year, they established their first factory. By 2013, annual revenue reached ¥18 million — validating their quality-first approach.
Cobabies became one of the first baby product companies in China to implement ERP systems and data-driven e-commerce operations — years ahead of competitors.
A major business crisis left Cobabies with ¥10 million in debt. When others might have restructured or disappeared, Frank chose full accountability. “Trust is not a resource to be optimized. It is the foundation of everything.”
Through relentless effort and radical transparency with every creditor, all debts were repaid within one year. Revenue recovered to ¥20 million. The team that stayed became the core of today’s organization.
Two years ahead of the original target, Cobabies crossed ¥100M in annual revenue — achieved through team resilience and unwavering commitment to product quality.
Products reach Walmart shelves, Amazon storefronts, Shopee and Lazada across Southeast Asia. Three manufacturing bases now support a full lifecycle product ecosystem.
